As you said, we’ve been seeing more and more things like:
- strange questions,
- posts that aren’t really questions,
- pointless one-line questions.
It’s becoming quite a problem.
What makes it especially frustrating is that most of these people seem to think they’re doing something good, or genuinely don’t understand what they’ve done wrong.
We could solve this by going back to the old system, where everything was initially hidden and then displayed individually.
However, that would also mean that answers from people who respond quickly wouldn’t be displayed for quite some time. (That was how it worked before, so we’d just be going back to that system.)
I think giving answerers the ability to hide or display posts is a good idea, but getting the president’s approval for program changes has been difficult.
At the moment, only users with administrator-level permissions can change whether something is displayed or hidden.

True, there have been a lot of questions lately. That’s a good thing, but I can’t keep up with answering them in my spare time anymore. I feel like readers are having trouble keeping up, too.
