I’m not sure whether it takes a certain number of years or repetitions, but I’ve heard that you need to practice consciously.
Apparently, you start by making a deliberate effort to vocalize. Making sounds seems to be important.
At first, you’re doing it intentionally, but at some point, they say, the switch just flips.
So first, practice by making more and more sound.
That seems to be effective.
