Are men’s annual incomes really accurate?

I’m a male member—and a total loser. In the income section on Universe, I’ve listed the amount I can spend on papa-katsu (tens of millions of yen). Staff, please check it out. I’ve also told the staff in charge the allowances for all the women I’m keeping, so the figures should roughly add up if you do the math. I’m being completely serious.

I’ll answer as Maezawa from the president’s office. Men’s annual income is self-reported. In the first place, Universe has no income requirement. That said, I think more men actually underreport their income than report it accurately. Apparently, they worry that if they claim a higher income, Universe or the women might start asking them for more money. However, after joining, some gradually tell the staff their true income—or at least let them know that they actually earn much more than they initially reported. So I think once you join, you’ll realize that Universe operates honestly and professionally. Incidentally, SALON does have a requirement of an annual income of at least ¥40 million—or assets above a certain level—so we verify that men earn at least ¥40 million a year. However, men generally only bring documentation proving that amount. So even among men who say they earn ¥40 million, I get the feeling many actually earn ¥100 million or more. Come to think of it, I thought SALON originally had a capacity of 30 men, but at some point it increased to 36. And apparently, as soon as they announced that it was fully booked, more and more men started saying they wanted to join（笑） Is this a case of Japanese people being especially drawn to limited availability?
