Come to think of it, so many people have divorced parents. I do too—and I’m divorced myself. In other words, my daughter is also being raised by a single mother.
There are so many that it doesn’t really bother me. If I had a favorite college girl, I might even become a parental figure to her.

I’m a male member—and a total loser.
This is just my personal opinion, but single mothers are the ones who really get my heart fluttering.
“I have to step in as a father figure and protect this girl!”
I get all fired up for no real reason, and the allowance I offer keeps going up.
I’m not genuinely in love with them—I’m a “true papa” with a strong paternal instinct.

Personally, hearing that wouldn’t make me think anything of it or affect my impression. Though I suppose some men might care.
That said, if it doesn’t bother you, I don’t really see any need to bring it up.
