I’m a college student, and I’m a little disappointed that some people say they avoid making offers to female college students. I know we have less life experience than working adults, but we’re not all that irresponsible (or at least I don’t think I am), and it’s not like I want to drag anyone around shopping for designer brands or squeeze money out of them… If that’s really how people see us, I’m wondering whether I should wait until I’m working full-time to register. So, I guess my question is: do you all dislike female college students?

I’m Fuu, a column writer. I like cute college students who aren’t flaky. As I wrote in my column, I initially offered to meet college students, but I ended up having these experiences: - Two students canceled on me at the last minute on consecutive occasions - One asked for extra money for every intimate activity - One just lay there and did nothing On top of that, I’ve had college students send rude questions through my Q&A box, so I’ve been completely traumatized by the experience. I wish there were more college students like you, the person who asked this question.

You should take issue with the college girl asking, “You don’t seriously think someone as cute and beautiful as me would get involved with some dirty, pot-bellied old man unless I got a huge amount of money, right?” Marika

I’m in Seattle. The Keio SFC student I’ve been seeing for dinner only (no intimacy) for the past two years—on a modest allowance—is cute and a really lovely person. She also thinks seriously about her future. I guess it really depends on the individual.

I’m Kazu, a male member. A friend of mine loved inviting groups of female college students to meals, so I ended up meeting quite a few of them. However, most of them seemed pretty entitled and out of touch with the real world, so I haven’t had a very good impression overall. Because of that, being a female college student is a negative factor when I’m deciding whether to make an offer. Unless there’s something particularly intriguing about her, I’m not likely to reach out. The other day, I made an offer to a female college student with a somewhat unusual background who had been recommended by a staff member. But in the end, I still found myself thinking, “Yep, definitely a college student.”

I’m Nana Ayase ♡ I’m a woman myself, but I just have one thing to say… Some younger men seem to think it feels good simply because they’re firm, but that’s not true. From my perspective, they seem like monkeys, and I don’t like it—even men in their late 30s. I suppose they think being young is automatically a good thing, but is this place the same as dealing with students? They’re not interesting to talk to, either… I won’t see men under 40.

I’m a male member named “Paper Airplane.” If you’re thinking about signing up, I’d say do it then and there—the sooner, the better. Men come in a wide range of ages, so there’s demand for women across a wide age range as well. It’s not that college women are being avoided. In fact, I think women of every age are in demand, with female college students attracting interest from the broadest range of men.

I’m Aya, a female member. If you’re a male member, I think most people will offer to meet a college woman at least once after joining. Nearly every papa (male supporter) I’ve met was like that. That said, I think college women tend to be harder to maintain a long-term arrangement with than working women. The age gap with their papa is usually bigger, and it’s not like there are many college women with a mistress mindset. That’s only natural, though. I was the same way—when I was in college, I was full of unfounded confidence, a bit cheeky, and pretty naïve. There are also plenty of clueless girls out there. So I think papas gradually start thinking, “Maybe I’ll avoid college women.” But as I mentioned at the beginning, I think you’ll be approached at least once because of your youth and cuteness. If you can really win your papa’s heart at that point, I think it’s easy to continue the arrangement.

I’m Flagmaker, a columnist. I thought I should at least offer arrangements to a few students, so I reached out to several of them—but not a single one has continued. Sorry, but I probably won’t make offers to students anymore. To avoid any misunderstanding, I mean that students simply aren’t a good fit for me.

I’m Basil, a male member. I’ve run into several female college students whose utter lack of common sense was shocking, as if they thought being young would get them anything. Compared with women who work regular jobs, they haven’t left me with a very good impression. That said, some are polite and seriously thinking about their futures, so I still occasionally make offers after reviewing their profiles.

Maezawa from the president’s office here. Some men prefer students, so there’s no need to worry. Some men make offers exclusively to students, too. That said, unlike on dating apps, it’s not necessarily the case that the younger you are, the more men will flock to you. It may be better to think of offers as being fairly evenly distributed. The point is simply that if you assume, “I’m young, so he’ll be happy even if we only have dinner,” that may not be the case. Ultimately, whether you receive offers or not depends on your own appeal.
