If their looks are comparable, I’d say the difference is probably whether their personality and overall demeanor appeal to the staff, or whether they have a background like a moderately well-known celebrity.

From a man’s perspective, Black B is where you have the best chance.
Looking at the number of offers, Black B is fairly steady, with fewer extreme cases. Platinum B, on the other hand, has a huge range—from girls who receive an incredible number of offers to those who get almost none. For those who get an extreme number of offers, things don’t really start until after they’ve gone through one full round.
I think limiting offers to Black members is also meant to give men a sense of added value.

That would be a boring place to end, so I’ll add a little more lol.
Based on my limited experience, I haven’t noticed any obvious difference between Black and Platinum. In fact, I definitely preferred the Platinum girl, so even just in terms of looks, I found myself thinking, “Really?” If that girl is Black, then this one should obviously be Black too lol.
That said,
The interviewer’s personal preferences and judgment probably play a role, and UC is a business, so I imagine they have their own strategy as well.
For example, if they get the feeling that a girl will quit soon, they might put her in Black for a short-term push. Or if they want to increase the number of offers for a girl, they might deliberately move her to a different class.

It simply depends on whether the staff member who interviewed you thought you were a fit for the Black tier or the Platinum tier.
