I sometimes earn ¥100,000 an hour myself. (Honestly, I can’t imagine going much higher than that…)
From an hourly-wage perspective, papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) is probably more efficient than working part-time at a convenience store. But compared with a regular daytime job, you don’t build up much in the way of career experience or professional assets, so you should also be aware of that downside.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true for either No. 1 or No. 2. My hourly rate can sometimes exceed ¥20,000 or ¥30,000 as well.
P.S. If sex is involved, some AV actresses may actually earn more when calculated by the hour.
