About the New Club

This is Saito, the columnist♪ ① I heard this from a woman as well, but the ways people find this site—or rather, the registration process—are pretty interesting. Instead of asking here, I think it would be more interesting to ask the members how they found out about it. It may cost a little money, though… ② It depends on the person. I think some people do well through arranged introductions. I was registered with a matchmaking agency for two years, but in the end, I’m the type who met someone on my own and got married. ↑ Put that way, it sounds like I’m saying it can’t be done… lol ③ As the years go by, more and more young newcomers will join, so perhaps there’s no need to be overly concerned. That’s how I see it. Even in the entertainment industry, new stars keep emerging. My explanation may not be sufficient, but I hope this helps.

Maezawa here with my answers. 1) If I told you how we recruit women, wouldn’t you be able to launch the same thing using that method afterward? The important thing isn’t the know-how behind recruiting women—it’s whether you can actually meet the women you’re looking for, right? 2) Do you really believe the staff can judge compatibility? They probably can’t. But simply giving up because it can’t be done in one try isn’t very impressive. We can discuss things after each meeting and, in the end, introduce a woman who’s compatible with the man. I believe that’s something we can do. By the way, within the pool of women you can choose from yourself, how many women were you introduced to before you met someone compatible? Even if you weren’t compatible, wouldn’t meeting all those different women have given you some good memories in various ways? 3) I can’t really imagine running out of possible pairings, so I haven’t thought beyond that.
