I’m a male member. What do you think about posting photos of food as private photos? In that case, I feel it would be better to post an unedited photo of yourself. Photos taken in a restroom mirror with part of the face covered also give off a sugar-dating vibe, so I tend to avoid making an offer. What kind of private photos would make you want to reach out?

Wu Youyou from FS3 here, offering my answer as well. A woman’s private photos aren’t limited to selfies. She may also occasionally post pictures of food or personal belongings, such as designer handbags. I think this can be a form of self-promotion, including an indication of her attitude toward money.

I’m Fuu, a column writer. It’s true that photos of food don’t really help when deciding whether to make an offer. I imagine female members post them more with an Instagram-like mindset. As with the person who asked the question, ordinary, unedited photos are much more helpful—such as pictures taken while traveling, wearing a yukata, or relaxing at home with a pet.

I’m Maezawa from the CEO’s Office, and I’ll answer this one too. > What do you think about posting pictures of food as private photos? I don’t see a problem with it. But aren’t you, the person asking, not posting a picture of yourself in the first place? Or are you posting a picture of something other than a person? Isn’t it a bit hypocritical to criticize others while ignoring your own behavior?

I’m Dai, a male member. If you choose to avoid offers based on that, that’s entirely up to you. For me, private photos are merely one reference point, so they would never be the deciding factor in making an offer.

I’m Taro, a male member. There’s zero chance I’ll make an offer based on a photo that doesn’t show the woman herself. And if she is in the photo but it’s heavily edited or overly glamorized, I just pass. A lot of people look different in photos. When you click, you’re taken to the profile page, where the first photo taken by the club is displayed full-size. Sometimes I think, “Wait, this is the same person?” A gap can be interesting, but I won’t make an offer. Sorry. Natural-looking photos are best. Many times, I’ve seen a profile photo and gotten a good impression, then looked at her private photos and thought, “Oh, so this is what she’s really like. I like it after all,” and decided to make an offer. I may pay fairly close attention to the setting in the photos, too. For example, a photo taken by the pool at Marina Bay Sands, or someone who’s just a student or office worker posting photos that look like professional promotional shots. Or obviously a photo taken in the restroom at the Ritz. Even if the photo looks beautiful, I find myself thinking, “What’s going on here?” I may feel more wary than impressed. Swimsuit photos are effective. You can check things like breast size, how her body carries fat, and whether her figure is well-balanced. After all, dating clubs are ultimately about intimacy. But when a photo really emphasizes how good someone’s figure is, I sometimes think, “She must be overwhelmed with offers.” I had a feeling the person asking this question might actually be a woman, so I tried to give a slightly more thoughtful answer~♪

I’m Kazu, a male member. I don’t see any problem with women posting food photos in their private albums—it’s entirely up to them. As a male member, shouldn’t you simply make offers to the women you’re interested in? I don’t look at private photos when choosing who to make an offer to.
