In the past, one advantage was that regional branches sometimes responded more quickly than branches in central Tokyo. As for whether members in Osaka would find out, they might if you have your profile set so that female members can view it. You can only be registered with one branch. I’m Fuu, a column writer. Even if you switch branches, male members can still view the profiles of female members at every branch. Also, members can only register with one branch. Before re-registering, you can ask the club to hide your profile from any male members who had previously made you an offer. Even so, there’s no guarantee you won’t be found out, so think of an excuse in case you are. For example, “I really like you, but what you’re offering isn’t enough to cover what I need,” and so on. Make sure you’re prepared with something convincing before you re-register. Is there also fierce competition among female members in Kansai? I’m Kazu, a male member. If you tell the club, “My ID is from Osaka, but I’m currently living in Kyoto,” they may let you register through the Kyoto branch. However, you’ll probably receive more offers from men in Kyoto, and you would be responsible for the transportation costs to get there. If you then tell a man, “Actually, I live in Osaka, so please give me extra for transportation,” and he complains to the club, you could be forcibly removed for giving false information. If that happens, you probably won’t be able to register with Universe Club again. Even if you go that far, men in Osaka will still find out that you’ve re-registered. You can’t register with multiple branches. Women can’t choose their branch. You’re automatically registered with the branch that covers your area of residence. So, for example, even if you interview at the Kyoto branch, if you say that you live in Osaka, you’ll automatically be registered with the Osaka branch. In that case, since you didn’t interview at the Osaka branch, the Osaka staff won’t know much about you, and you’ll miss out on opportunities for the club to recommend you to male members in Osaka.
