I’ve been registered with Universe for over a year now.
There are fewer offers than when I first joined, so I’ve started wondering whether I should leave and register with another club instead.
Since I live outside a major city, Universe seems to be the biggest option, but are there any other clubs with regional coverage that you’d recommend?
I’d seen Universe on TV and thought it seemed trustworthy, so I decided to register. But with other clubs, I could only find information online, and there weren’t many reviews, so it was hard to tell what they were really like.
I’d love to hear from both men and women about things like the staff’s service, how safe and reliable the club feels, and the number and quality of the people you can meet.
If Universe really is the best option, I’d also like to know why.

When it comes to membership, name recognition, and peace of mind, I think Universe is the top dating club. If you want more offers, why not stay with Universe and also join another club?
That said, I’ve never joined another dating club because I don’t want to take the risk, so please keep in mind that I can’t vouch for this firsthand. The following is based on information I’ve seen online.
According to online reviews, some other dating clubs reportedly don’t allow women to turn down an offer and have the allowance decided from the start. It would be scary if one were being run by an organized crime group.
There do seem to be some safe clubs, but as you mentioned, they tend to be smaller companies with very little information available. Please research them carefully and be cautious.

Just to confirm, have you ever tried the following at Universe Club?
- Confirming that you’re still active
- Having your photos retaken
- Updating your profile
These can move your profile higher in the listings, making it easier for male members to see—and may lead to more offers.

If expanding into regional areas is a requirement, then I’d say Universe is the only choice. I don’t know of any other options.

Some people apparently register with another agency without withdrawing first.

Once you’re outside the major cities, even the mighty (lol) Universe sees fewer offers, so I feel it would be difficult with another agency too, even if there are any.
You could stay registered with Universe, move to Tokyo, and let the staff know. Your registered location would then be changed to Tokyo, which alone might increase the number of offers you receive.

I’ve also considered registering with other services, but I ended up deciding against it for pretty much the same reasons as you.
Universe Club definitely gives me the greatest sense of security.
There are clubs you can join entirely online, but they don’t seem all that different from dating apps, and probably wouldn’t be as well equipped to handle problems.
I live outside a major city too, so it’s entirely possible that I’d register only to find there aren’t any active members in my area at all…

Hey, wait a minute. Someone who can’t find meaning in their current job isn’t going to magically find it elsewhere. Start by finding purpose in the work right in front of you.
You want to do something big? I’d rather entrust something big to someone who handles the small things properly than to someone who won’t even do the small things…
If you can’t find a good papa (a male supporter) within a year, you may have no choice but to try another club. But the papa who’s right for you also has to see you as a good woman for him.
What matters more is what kind of person you are right now.
Besides, there aren’t many men who want to continue seeing a woman who’s already thinking, “Maybe I should try another club…” You may end up in a downward spiral where neither side can find what they’re looking for. It might look like a brief oasis, but it could actually become a hell that goes on forever…
