I’m going to have an adult relationship (intimate) with my papa (a male supporter) for the first time soon. The papa usually provides the condoms, right? Also, do you receive the allowance before intimacy?

I’m Taro, a male member. If you’re at a love hotel, condoms are usually placed by the bedside. If you’re in any other situation, it’s better to bring your own. Men should be the ones to prepare them, but there are plenty of men with the “I want to go without one” syndrome, and they may try to steer things that way by making up some excuse. In that situation, it’s important to be ready to say, “No, it’s fine—I brought one.” As an aside, it’s important to think of yourself as being in battle mode from this point in the conversation. When it comes to a fight, whoever loses their temper first wins. I think the allowance is usually given before leaving the hotel—that’s what I do. From a woman’s perspective, receiving it upfront is safer, but men tend to lose interest when it’s demanded outright. It has about the same impact as when, just as the conversation is getting lively and you’re about to exchange contact information, she says, “Kakao, please. If you don’t have an account, could you make one now?” If I were a woman and wanted things to continue with that man, I’d leave the timing up to him. In the end, I think it comes down to whether you can trust the man from the very first meeting. The same goes for men, but mutual attraction and trust are probably the result of a chain reaction that starts at that initial stage.

I’m Nana Ayase♡ Congratulations on your first adult relationship (intimate). I prefer to receive my allowance before intimacy, but some people pay afterward. A good papa will bring condoms in the right size. However, quite a few insist on going without one, so some guys will say they didn’t bring any or forgot them. So keep both M and L sizes—around 0.1 or 0.2 mm thick—hidden nearby, preferably by the bed. If you don’t use them, don’t forget to retrieve them.

I’m Dai, a male member. I bring my own condoms. After we get to the hotel, I take a shower first, then leave the allowance on the table while she’s showering. So basically, I give it to her right before things begin. I do it that way because I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that some women get dressed and leave while the man is in the shower…

I’m a male member, and my username is Paper Airplane. If a woman brought condoms with her, I don’t think I’d continue seeing her. There was only one woman like that in the past. We didn’t continue, but she sent me messages several times asking, “When can we meet again?” As for the allowance, I give it upfront on the first day with a C-type arrangement. With a B-type arrangement, unless it’s the first day, I probably wouldn’t bring up the allowance or pay it upfront. If she brought up the allowance, I probably wouldn’t continue seeing her.

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here with an answer too. You’re being naïve. Normally, the man is supposed to provide them, but that only applies to “good men.” Men who want to do it without protection may deliberately not bring condoms. So be sure to bring your own. I recommend the 0.02 mm type. Since some men may say the condom is too small and doesn’t fit, it might be a good idea to bring both standard and L sizes. If he asks, “Why do you have those?” you can simply say, “I read that in the Q&A box.” That way, it won’t seem strange at all that you brought them. If he says, “I don’t have any condoms, so it’s okay to do it without one, right?” tell him, “I brought some,” and take them out. As for when to receive your allowance, a “good man” will give it to you as soon as you enter the room. Less considerate men, however, may try to hand it over after the intimate part. So, if a man doesn’t want to pay you upfront, he may be the type who wouldn’t mind not seeing you again after the second meeting. See how things go once you’re in the room. If he still hasn’t paid you, put up with it for the moment—but if he still doesn’t give it to you even after you’ve showered and are undressed, ask, “Could I receive my allowance now?” and make sure you receive it before anything happens. Also, when you receive it, be sure to remind him firmly, “Please make sure to use a condom.” Hopefully, he’ll be a good man who’s willing to give you the allowance you’re hoping for.

I’m Kazu, a male member. Usually, the man provides them. It might be a good idea to keep some on hand so she can’t say, “I don’t have any, so let’s do it without one.” From what I’ve heard from women, only a minority of men give the allowance in advance.

I’m in Seattle. Usually, the papa (a male supporter) provides the condoms. If you’re worried, bring both regular and large sizes yourself, or confirm beforehand. You’ll receive the allowance upfront about 70% of the time. If you’re concerned, confirm the amount in advance. If you haven’t received it by the time you’re leaving, make sure to press him firmly.
