You can’t conclude that someone is doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) just because you see him walking with a young woman. They could be work-related, or he might simply be out with a hostess. So there’s not necessarily anything to be embarrassed about.
However, exchanging cash with a woman looks pretty suspicious. Even if the other person is a man, exchanging cash still looks suspicious.
I hope you gain enough insight to recognize things like that, too.
