For a first meeting, I don’t really worry about whether alcohol is served or not—I just choose food the woman likes.
From the second meeting onward, if she enjoys alcohol, I might suggest having drinks in a private room.
Given the current situation, I believe places that serve alcohol carry a higher risk of infection than those that don’t. I feel it would be disrespectful to take a woman to such a place.

I don’t drink alcohol when I’m driving to begin with, and lately, even people who do drink can’t really drink at restaurants, so we sometimes have drinks in the room instead.

We wear masks until we get to the room, wear masks and keep our distance in daily life, and check each other’s health right up until the date begins…
The only problem is that once we’re in bed, we both smell so strongly of alcohol that we can’t even kiss!
