I’m Flag Maker, a columnist.
I’ve only had monthly arrangements with two women so far, but how often we met varied depending on both of our schedules. Averaged out, I think it was about three times a month. We never specifically decided how many times we’d meet.
With a monthly arrangement, is the allowance paid based on the nature of the relationship? I’ve always thought you paid an allowance to the person, not for what you do together.

I have two monthly arrangements. I see one of them about six or seven times a month, and we stay overnight each time. He’s also rented an apartment for me, we travel frequently, and I’d say we’re quite close.
I see the other one about three or four times a month, but we don’t stay overnight or travel together. We just spend around four hours together from the evening onward. I’d honestly like to see him more and stay over sometimes, but he’s still fairly young and has small children. He has a lot of family responsibilities, like picking them up from daycare and spending his days off with his family, so it’s difficult.
