Apply for public assistance and exercise your right to a minimum standard of living that is healthy and culturally dignified. Then, with the goal of eventually being able to support yourself without public assistance, look for a job—that’s generally how it works.
Start by applying for public assistance.
That said, the government’s finances are strained when too many people receive assistance, so it apparently isn’t always easy to get approved.
You may need to approach it with a determined attitude and consult a specialist.
