Not at all… That was my first thought, but judging from the wording— > “I wonder if the genuine voices (online comments) saying, ‘We’d like to see Maezawa-san participate too,’ had an effect after all?” —it doesn’t seem like someone from inside the company. (Haha.) I’m not sure whether it had an indirect effect, but… Even when people asked, I basically hadn’t planned to participate. Then President Kida said, “Sounds interesting. I’m in too.” And, “Maezawa-san will participate as well, right? You’re from the CEO’s Office, after all.” “Of course.” (I couldn’t think of any other answer. Haha.) That’s how I ended up taking part. Since this was our first time doing this in connection with the question box, we didn’t know what would happen if everyone participated and the number of people became too large, so we asked only a few specific people to join this time. But after trying it out, if it seems that having many respondents participate wouldn’t be a problem, we may have a larger group join next time. That said, whether there will even be a second round depends on the organizers.
