the Imperial Hotel, and
Conrad Osaka.
The views from the floors that require a special key were absolutely breathtaking.
What really surprised me was that the refrigerators didn’t even look like refrigerators. They were beautiful.

In Tokyo, I’ve had great experiences at:
Aman Tokyo, The Capitol Hotel Tokyu, Palace Hotel, Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, The Ritz-Carlton, The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, Hotel Okura, and The Westin Tokyo. They’re all wonderful hotels, and I’m nothing but grateful to my papas (male supporters).
The Prince Gallery has floor-to-ceiling windows made of a single pane of glass, with a sofa right beneath them. Lying on the sofa made me feel as though I were floating among the city lights at night.
If I had to mention one small drawback, The Westin Tokyo is a bit far from Ebisu Station—about a 10-minute walk. But basically, they’re all luxury hotels I could never afford to visit on my own, so I’m impressed every time.

I really liked the RIHGA Royal Hotel Waseda, where I stayed years ago (is it called the RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo now?). I wonder if it feels dated these days…
In general, wouldn’t going with a junior suite, deluxe room, or club floor give a better impression?
At the New Otani, the suites are spacious and reasonably priced, but it feels a little too old… I’m not sure about the location either. Oh, I mean the New Otani in Kansai…

It was the New Otani. I get the impression that it’s not very popular because it’s an older hotel.
The Ritz-Carlton, Conrad, and Mandarin Oriental were all well received. Come to think of it, one woman also said she liked Hotel Chinzanso.
