Cute girls usually have boyfriends, keep up with trends, and know their own worth.
If she’s really cute, I get the impression she’s making more than ¥200,000–¥300,000 a month—probably quite a bit more.
She may just be telling her friends a lower figure. And in most cases, she probably says it’s dinner only (no intimacy).
Even if she’s receiving ¥1 million a month, she might tell her friends that’s because there’s an adult relationship (intimate), and that ¥200,000–¥300,000 a month is about right for dinner only.
At Universe, we also have women who come in through referrals from friends. Women referred by their female friends often choose Relationship Type A.
When I talk to them, they’ll say, “My friend chose A too.” But when I check, the friend is actually Type C.
Of course, we can’t tell them that, so they register as Type A and don’t receive any offers.
It makes me realize that when they talk to their friends, they’re saying it’s dinner only.
Apparently, it usually starts with something like, “You seem to have more money to spend lately—what’s up?” Then it turns into, “Introduce me too.”
This was quite a while ago, so I’m sure things have changed somewhat since then.

That said, since half of college students attend university while shouldering debt in the form of student loans, I do think there are students who do papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) because they’re struggling financially. There are probably a lot of low-income students in her circle.
