Some men may prefer women who are as young as possible, but I don’t think every man necessarily prefers younger women. Even when it comes to preferring younger women, there are different possibilities: some may prefer a youthful body, others a youthful mindset, and some may have a particular age range in mind.
So why do men date younger women?
My impression is that younger women are more likely to focus on attracting men’s sexual interest. Regardless of gender, people tend to care more about being popular when they’re young. As they get older, though, they develop other interests, and being attractive to others gradually becomes less important in their lives.
I think the most important criterion when a woman is interviewed by a dating club is whether she has sex appeal. Considering the age range of applicants and successful candidates, women in their twenties probably make up the largest group. In other words, it may not be that men want to have sex with women who are around the same age as their daughters. Rather, they choose women they want to have sex with, and those women happen to be around the age their daughters could be.
In economic terms, you could say that demand is being shaped by supply.

Generally speaking, a man’s daughter’s friends wouldn’t be romantic prospects.
Besides, are men really pursuing romance through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)? I don’t consider allowance-based relationships to be romantic relationships.

I wonder why that is（笑）
When I was young—back in my teens—I remember being attracted to older women. But now that I’m this age, I find myself drawn to younger women（笑）
When I’m making an offer and line up several candidates side by side, my eyes inevitably keep going to the younger ones.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s because I’m spending money, but it doesn’t seem to be just that.

When you touch them, their skin is smooth, their breasts are still firm, and their figures haven’t lost their shape—so naturally, I think men tend to go for younger women.
Apparently, mature hostess clubs and other mature-oriented adult establishments have become very popular lately. One gentleman once told me, “I don’t need women in their 30s who smell like pee.” (Sorry for the crude wording.)
But mature women have a sensuality, grace, and depth that younger women don’t. It’s not only young girls who receive offers. I’m still getting offers myself, and I also have several people I’ve remained close with.
As for the idea that men see their daughters’ friends as romantic or intimate prospects—I don’t think so. They probably wouldn’t want their daughters to hate them.

I can’t help feeling that calling someone an “old man” is somehow disrespectful. But is this something that applies only to men?
For example, there’s been the term “young lover” for quite some time. That would suggest there are also older women who date younger men.
So, regardless of whether they’re men or women, I think there will always be a certain number of people who want to date someone younger.
I’m not entirely sure why, though…
Is there anyone who doesn’t like beautiful things?

I’ve consistently only been into women around the same age as me, but as time passes, it feels like the entire coordinate system itself shifts. That’s all it is. Women my own age now feel older than me.
When I was told that one of these women’s parents were the same age as me, I somehow thought, “I’ve surpassed the speed of sound.” It hit me with something resembling a sonic boom.

Perhaps he wants reassurance that he’s still got it as a man. Still, I find it hard to understand. If I were in my 50s, I don’t think I’d go for women in their 20s.
