If someone expects their partner to pay their medical expenses if they were infected, then I think they would of course pay in the reverse situation as well.
I’m not sure why you would even need to ask something like that. Isn’t it only natural?
That said, basically, if a woman asks a man to use a condom and he refuses, boasting that he’s “fine,” and then infects her and tells her to pay for the treatment, of course she’d be angry.
If he had used a condom, though, I think she probably wouldn’t have been quite so upset and might have thought, “Well, these things happen.”

If you were the one who transmitted it, you should pay the medical expenses. But realistically, even if she says she’s only had sex with you, how could she prove that? Even if things got seriously complicated and ended up in court, I think it would be difficult to claim reimbursement for the medical costs.
This isn’t a gender-specific issue. The same applies if a woman transmits an illness to a man.
