I’m Maezawa from the President’s Office, and I’ll answer this too. If a woman receives multiple offers, I think she can choose which men to see. If there’s only one good man, she’d probably date just him. But if, for example, she received offers from 20 men and found five of them appealing, I think she’d see all five. After all, there’s no guarantee that any one man will continue seeing her indefinitely. So I think dating only one man has more disadvantages than advantages. I believe women are better off seeing multiple men.

I’m Taro, a male member. If a woman falls for someone and no longer wants to see other men, she’ll probably either leave the club or turn down any offers, making up some kind of excuse. At a club like Universe, where active membership is properly managed, she’d likely either withdraw or go on hiatus when her membership is reviewed after six months. If she likes someone but isn’t exclusively committed to him, she’ll probably keep her profile active, meet men when she receives offers, and continue seeing anyone who invites her out again. In other words, she’ll date multiple people. However, once she has someone who suits her best, her enthusiasm for the second-best option and beyond tends to be lower, so those relationships are less likely to last. She may disappoint a man by not quite responding to his feelings, or fail to make much effort when their schedules don’t line up. Small things like that can cause one relationship after another to drop away, until eventually she’s left with just one person. There are also women who can successfully manage several relationships in parallel—highly skilled, money-focused girls, or women who can naturally juggle multiple relationships the way men do. Of course, this assumes they have the qualities needed to attract enough suitable offers. My guess is that the middle pattern is the most common, probably around 70%. The third pattern is next, at 25% or more. The first pattern—the fantasy that male members have—is probably less than 5%.

I’m Date◎Yume, a male member. I’ll leave the question of how many partners they have to the female members themselves, but based on the three women from the club I’ve met so far, none of them seemed to be seeing anyone else. Two of them met me for the first time soon after joining, while the other was suspected of misrepresenting her dating preferences and didn’t seem like someone who would stick around… One of the women I met right after she joined also didn’t continue, and now it feels like I’m the only one for her. After all, she herself says it’s “the Date arrangement”... (笑)

I’m Kazu, a male member. I’m not really sure. Of the women I know, about three out of four seem to be seeing multiple people. Including women who haven’t received any offers or don’t have a regular partner, I’d guess that roughly one in three female members is dating multiple people. Women who don’t want multiple partners and find someone they’re happy with would probably take a break or leave the club. Then again, I often hear women say they have trouble keeping an arrangement going, so the actual number may be lower. Across all female members, it might be fewer than one in five. Some women receive lots of offers, while others apparently receive none at all. Even when an offer does come in, whether the man is someone the woman wants to meet and whether his preferred pace matches hers—it’s all pretty much a lottery. So asking “how many?” doesn’t really make much sense.
