Should the woman be the one to suggest a monthly arrangement?

I’m Aya, a female member. I’ve had monthly arrangements with three men so far, and in every case, they were the ones who brought it up. It often happens naturally once we become close and start seeing each other more frequently. I’d feel too presumptuous bringing it up myself.

I’ll answer as Maezawa from the president’s office as well. I don’t think it necessarily starts from one side or the other. I have the impression that I’ve heard more about men bringing it up, but when a man negotiates a pay-per-meeting arrangement, the woman may say she’s not interested unless it’s a longer-term agreement, which can then lead to a monthly arrangement.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member. When a man asks a woman, “How much are you thinking per month for papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)?” and she gives an answer, I may adjust the arrangement so that it comes to that amount, whether it’s pay-per-meeting or a monthly arrangement. Other than in situations like that, no woman has ever brought it up herself. I’ve also never been the one to suggest a monthly arrangement.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I don’t think that’s necessarily the case.
