My papas don’t support me getting cosmetic surgery. I’ve mentioned to several papas that I’d like to have work done, but none of them agree. They all say, “You’re cute enough just the way you are.” It’s true that I’m not celebrity-level beautiful, but I do think I’m on the cute side. By the way, I’m ranked Platinum. I’m only a little cuter than average, and I’m still far from my ideal appearance. Why do papas say I’m fine the way I am when, obviously, they’d prefer someone cuter?

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here. > Why do papas say they’re fine with you as you are, even though they obviously prefer someone cute? Maybe it’s because they haven’t seen anyone become cuter through plastic surgery. A little cosmetic work might make someone look cuter, but at that level, I feel makeup could achieve the same thing. Once you start, though, you may end up wanting to change other parts as well. The person may be satisfied with the results, but from a man’s perspective, most of the time, their face just keeps getting worse and worse. They don’t realize it themselves. The goal was supposed to be becoming cuter, but they haven’t actually become cuter. I think papas can’t support it because they recognize that contradiction. If someone could stop after changing just one thing, some papas might support it. But the reality is that there aren’t many people like that. > I’m only slightly cuter than average, and I’m still far from my ideal. I want you to realize that your ideal appearance isn’t necessarily the same as what men consider ideal.

I’m a flag maker and a column writer. Ask what they want to have done, where, and how, and if it sounds good, I’ll support it. An ex of mine had work done around her eyes, along with a few other procedures, and she really did become incredibly cute. But she said, “Cosmetic surgery is a rabbit hole.” Apparently, once you start, it can feel like there’s no end to it.

I’m だて◎ゆめ, a male member. If you’re platinum-tier, you wouldn’t need cosmetic surgery in the first place… Your looks are already more than good enough. As Taro said, work on your inner qualities instead…

I’m Aya, a female member. As you said, the Platinum class has that “somewhat cute” feel to it. The Black class is similar, too. One papa once told me, “You won’t find breathtaking beauties in an ordinary dating club. That’s actually what makes it trustworthy.” Everyone has different tastes, but when you’re not celebrity-level attractive, even the little things you’re self-conscious about can really bother you. I sometimes feel like getting cosmetic surgery, too, but my type and my papa’s type are different, so I’ve decided there’s not much I can do about it. If my papa tells me I’m beautiful, I figure that’s good enough. If you’re considering cosmetic procedures, I think anti-aging treatments and working toward healthier-looking skin would make you look even more attractive. Supplements, cosmetic dermatology, and strength training to improve your figure could help, too. Sorry if you’re already doing those things. In any case, I think simply doing what you can to become more beautiful can make quite a difference.

I’m Taro, a male member. Of course—that’s only natural. Your current papa offered to see you as you are now. He clearly doesn’t think you need plastic surgery, and would probably rather not see your natural charm diminished by it. If you’re already in the Platinum class and have enough papas to have several supporters, isn’t that more than enough? If you have money to spare, invest in your inner qualities rather than your appearance. A woman’s real appeal is what’s on the inside. The saying that you get used to a beauty after three days is true. If you’re just looking to increase the number of men you spend one night with, then looks matter—but I’m sure that’s not what you want.

I’m Kazu, a male member. Because cosmetic surgery is ultimately about pleasing yourself. Apparently, having it done once isn’t enough, either. You start thinking, “Next, I’ll fix this,” then “Now I want to change that,” and the desire just keeps growing without end.
