There are plenty of handsome, smart, talented, wealthy guys my age with great personalities, so why do papas go out of their way to act so superior? Their looks are long gone and they’re all wrinkled, yet they can only survive in the world of “I’ve got money.” It’s pitiful. They’re missing out. Unless they have more emotional generosity and a better personality than younger guys, a kindness that men their own age can’t offer, and things you can’t learn anywhere else, it’s hard to keep things going for long.

When I was just starting out, I was humble and got the wrong impression, which made me feel really uncomfortable. You said, “There are plenty of handsome guys my age who are kind, smart, talented, and wealthy,” but in my case, I didn’t have anyone around me who was wealthier than my papa. There are people in their 30s, like startup founders, but they seemed like they played around a lot, so I didn’t want a long-term relationship with them. So in the end, I’m seeing both a perfectly ordinary boyfriend around my age and a wealthy older man.

Saying there are “plenty” of them doesn’t really make sense, and neither does saying there are countless attractive men in the world. If that were true, then almost all men in their teens and twenties would have to be attractive (“plenty” meaning almost everyone). But I don’t think that means they could all become idols. So the question has been exaggerated to the point of becoming somewhat unreasonable. That said, if you’re in your thirties, there are wealthy men in their thirties, and there are also some male members in their thirties at Universe, although not many. As for whether they have wonderful personalities, that depends on the individual. I don’t think being young automatically makes someone wonderful. I believe what you’re really saying is that you want men to have: “Generosity, a good personality, and a kindness that men your own age can’t offer.” And it’s true that about one-third of our male members seem to lack these qualities, so I think it’s fair to have that opinion. However, another one-third of the male members are impressive, and I don’t think the remaining third are bad either. Those men would probably think: “What are you talking about?” If someone said, “All women are〇〇,” wouldn’t you also say, “I’m not like that”? That said, I do wish men like that would reflect on their behavior. But whether they don’t see it or see it and simply believe they’re different, that attitude is probably why they act that way. In the end, I suppose it means women have to protect themselves.
