Also, in Hokkaido, some places are extremely far apart even within the same prefecture. So if someone asks,
“Do you have anyone in Rausu?”
or
“Anyone in Nemuro?”
I get the feeling there may be no one outside the Sapporo area.
Even in other prefectures, if you ask whether there’s someone out toward the edge of the prefecture, I suspect the answer would often be no.

As I wrote there, a dating club isn’t a staffing agency. The person you should be asking isn’t Universe Club or the person answering this question—it’s the woman you’re planning to make an offer to.
As for whether there are female members in prefectures without a branch, there are, although the numbers are significantly lower. For example, you do see women in Shizuoka, Gifu, and Mie, which neighbor Aichi, as well as Fukushima, Iwate, and Yamagata, which neighbor Miyagi.
For specific numbers, I recommend telling the men’s membership desk where you live and asking them directly.

I’m Chikuwa, a male member. There are women registered in prefectures where Universe doesn’t have a branch, and dates can be arranged in those prefectures as well. However, there are fewer members than in areas with branches. As you’d expect, there are overwhelmingly more women in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kansai.
