Physical chemistry definitely exists. You can tell as soon as you undress and touch each other. It’s a separate factor from feelings or affection. As for what happens next, I agree with Paper Airplane’s answer.
I feel the odds are actually higher—around 5–10%. If there’s chemistry, I’ll keep seeing her for the time being.

You can tell how good your physical compatibility is when you hold each other. Sometimes, you can sense it the moment your bodies touch.
It’s rare to find this kind of chemistry, but sometimes two people can get excited just from their fingertips touching.
When you have great physical compatibility, you can both feel it while holding each other, and things naturally progress as you explore that chemistry more deeply. If just having your fingertips brush a few centimeters apart is enough to get you excited, it goes without saying that everything else feels irresistible. The chances of meeting someone like that are less than 1%.
This has nothing to do with whether they’re a romantic partner or someone you’d marry. Whether you actually like them isn’t a major factor, either.

I don’t think you can tell right away whether you’re physically compatible with someone.
It starts with things like how you fit together when you face each other and hug, the height difference when you kiss, and so on.
I assume by “physical compatibility,” you mean compatibility during sex, but even that involves many factors—from how their breasts feel when you hold them to how your hipbones fit together.
I think it’s something you discover gradually over time, though I doubt there’s anyone who’s a perfect match.
Maybe everyone just thinks, “Well, I guess this is about as good as it gets.”

People often talk about “physical compatibility,” but what does that really mean?
If we’re talking about sexual compatibility, I suppose it means whether being intimate with someone feels good or painful. “Physical compatibility” sounds more like compatibility between physical characteristics, such as penis size and shape, or the position of the vagina.
I don’t think either can be determined immediately just by being intimate. Especially with physical compatibility, I think you may discover the positions that work best as you spend more time together.
If compatibility were something you could tell right away, I wouldn’t meet a woman for a second time if I felt the first encounter was just so-so.
I think how difficult it is to meet a woman you’re truly compatible with depends on how much compatibility you’re looking for.
