Outside of dating clubs, when I was in my twenties, I did this with several women who were also very interested in BDSM. We didn’t have particularly deep bonds.
More than the relationship itself, I think what matters is whether the woman is genuinely interested in it and whether she actually enjoys it once you get started.
Training someone takes a tremendous amount of time and effort, so I don’t think I’d want to do it again. I really do believe that the “S” in BDSM stands for “service.”
That said, if a woman I was especially attracted to asked me to train her, I might be willing to give it another try.
