I haven’t run into this at the club yet, but privately, I sometimes end up meeting the friends and acquaintances of younger women I see.
Apparently, their friends originally started calling me nicknames like “Master” or “Teacher” among themselves, and when I meet those friends, the girls call me that too.
Since being called “Master,” “Teacher,” or “partner” is fairly common, I figure it’s probably better not to overthink it—or worry about it too much.

It depends on your personality, but if you come across as serious, you could say he’s your part-time job supervisor, an alumnus, or an older man you’ve been close to since you were young. The key is to clearly say “since I was little,” I think.
If you have more of an airheaded, innocent persona, maybe something like, “He’s a cute old guy, right? He’s my friend! We’re really close!”

I just own it and even introduce him to my friends. My papa seems to enjoy it more that way, and we’ve even all gone out for dinner and held a little consultation session where we asked him for advice about our work troubles.
Also, once when I went with my papa to a place he frequented, I happened to run into a friend. I called him my “sponsor,” and luckily, they found it amusing.

I think it’s best to just say something like, “He’s a relative of mine who does ○○ for me.”
For ○○, I’d keep it to something fairly minor—just a bit of good luck that could realistically happen to someone around you, rather than anything too outrageous.
