To the supporter who answered this question: What do people actually end up fighting about when they get into trouble with celebrities or the entertainment industry? What area of law does a lawyer who specializes in making trouble disappear practice? I once became involved with a major gravure idol, and I got scared when the agency president called me directly about it, but there was no need to use a lawyer. He clearly had connections, but he didn’t demand any money. It was more like, “Hey, don’t get cocky!”—and honestly, given the circumstances, I had it coming. Without revealing anyone’s real name, please tell me what the dispute was about and how the lawyer handled it. I’m not interested in some boring made-up story. Please give me a proper answer.

I’m Papercraft, a male member. If you work closely with a lawyer, they’ll usually let you call anytime to ask about minor issues, and resolve them within a few minutes. In a case like yours, for example. Also, a powerful lawyer can often settle things simply by making one phone call to the other party on the spot. (A less capable lawyer wouldn’t be able to do that, though.) Sometimes just mentioning their name is enough to resolve the issue. And if you have a close relationship with them, they won’t be intimidated. In other words, you were merely in an intimate relationship with them.
