In that case, I think it’s perfectly fine to continue using your club name.
The man may feel that someone who shares her real name is more emotionally close to him, but there’s no real intimacy between you from the very beginning anyway.
After you’ve been seeing each other for several years, you’ll probably feel like you’re ready to share it yourself.
You could say something like:
“Could you wait until I feel comfortable enough to tell you my real name? For now, I’d like you to call me by my club name.”
That seems perfectly fine to me.

I’d be put off if someone asked for my full name, but if it’s just either my last name or first name, I don’t see a problem with it.
In my case, I’ll give my last name once I’ve decided I want to meet her a second time. I’ll ask for her name around then too, and usually she’ll tell me either her first or last name.
Occasionally, someone asks to be referred to by her club name. I do feel like there’s a bit of distance between us, but that’s all. I still meet them normally, often several times.
In the end, a name only needs to help you identify each other, so “Pochi” or “Tama” would work just as well. And since it’s just the two of you meeting, you can actually make it work without calling each other by name at all.

Since I use my real name from the start, most women call me by my real name from the first day.
A woman’s last name sometimes comes up repeatedly during a date—when she’s on the phone, making reservations, dealing with lost items, shopping, and so on. But since remembering it could lead to an awkward mistake, I try not to learn it until I’ve heard it quite a few times.
If she asks, just say, “I’d prefer you to use my club name rather than my real name.”
I don’t think there’s any need for a man to ask for a woman’s real name.
