I’m so jealous of the women whose papa pays for their apartments. I think I’ve heard that things naturally turn into a monthly arrangement as the relationship gets deeper, but does that really only happen if you become your papa’s number-one mistress?

Maezawa from the President’s Office here with an answer as well. Thank you for your question. A papa (a male supporter) who rents an apartment for you may be quite possessive, so I imagine being involved with him could be difficult. He might suddenly show up at the apartment, and you may constantly feel as though you’re being watched. It might end up feeling like being a bird in a cage. > I believe someone also mentioned that once the relationship deepens, it naturally becomes a monthly arrangement. That depends on the man. Some men continue with a pay-per-meeting arrangement even after the relationship becomes closer. So first, you need to meet someone like that, and then it will happen if he takes a liking to you. That said, it doesn’t take long for him to decide whether he likes you. Usually, the subject comes up around the first or second meeting. I think luck plays a part, too.

It’s true that having a papa rent an apartment for you feels very much like being a “kept woman,” and I can understand why that sounds enviable—you might even get to live somewhere nicer than you could afford on your own. That said, you’ll lose your freedom, and the hassle of dealing with things when you break up is something you’ll inevitably regret. You’ll probably wish you’d just stayed in the place you rented yourself. Honestly, I think the best papas are the ones who simply give you a fair allowance. —Marika, who once had a papa rent an apartment for her

I’m Taro, a male member. Honestly, I feel like most men wouldn’t rent an apartment even for their number-one woman(笑). The same goes for posts bragging about their allowance—I don’t think you should take them at face value. If you want a man who’ll rent an apartment for you, you’d probably have better odds working at a lounge and starting over with how you choose your partners.

I’m Kazu, a male member. Even if I’m only your second choice, I might rent one for you, depending on how the conversation goes. Still, I think it’s better to just receive cash—it’ll save you trouble later on. Is having a papa rent an apartment for them some kind of romantic ideal for women in these arrangements?
