I’m a male member, and lately I’ve been losing more often. It’s especially frustrating because I tend to lose to the more attractive women, but reading Flagmaker’s stories of defeat helped me feel a little better. Would you all share some of your own losing battles?

I’m Flagmaker, a column writer. I’m glad my column was helpful, haha. More importantly, Mac, you’re incredible… You hit the bullseye so perfectly that my heart hurts… Exactly—it was a setup, but I was actually thinking it could work for either outcome: winning or losing. - “Something good happened! I succeeded!” ← Nice! Good for you. - “In the end, I failed after all…” ← Haha. I came up with it as a setup that works either way, haha. A setup you can use regardless of how things turn out. I often aim for that. A lot is happening right now, so I’ll report back once everything comes together! By the way, my next column is about “running away” before things even get to the point of a losing battle, so please check it out. P.S. Speaking of a recent defeat: there’s a woman who stopped accepting an allowance and no longer has an adult relationship (intimate) with me. I gave her a gift worth about the same as one adult allowance, hoping that maybe this would give me a chance at an adult relationship… but it didn’t work, haha. I don’t know what will happen from here, but I’ll report the outcome in a column if anything comes of it. It’ll probably be a “tragedy,” haha.

I’m Kamihikōki, a male club member. Since this is a club where you receive an allowance, it’s hard to feel much shock from a failed encounter… I don’t even have the energy to write about it, let alone keep thinking about it… I can still remember how devastated I was after getting dumped in my senior year of high school, though… When you’re dealing with someone you’ve given money to, in that kind of world, can you really feel shocked…? There’s a world where you can simply think about the next person, and then there’s heartbreak, where you can’t imagine there being a next time… P.S. I remembered one. She lived far away, so we discussed everything online, booked a city hotel, and when she arrived, we went straight to the room. I gave her two days’ allowance—the highest amount I’d ever paid—as well as her travel expenses, then took her out for the food she wanted. But the portions were way too big, and she forced herself to eat. After that, she spent the entire night feeling sick in bed…just sleeping. Even afterward, she casually invited me out again, but I ignored her. Then about six months later, she suddenly messaged, “Why? You’re wonderful, aren’t you?” Was she trying to pressure me? Had she already forgotten everything…? At the club, the girls are almost never worse than their photos. With this one, though, the actual impression was less exciting than her pictures. If it had been the other way around, I probably still would have met her.

I’m Taro, a male member. To be honest, I hadn’t read the column, but I did after seeing this question. So you’re around 40, huh? And you’re a really good writer—the rhythm is great（笑). You’ve probably covered just about every possible scenario, too. I don’t think I could write anything that tops this. Wait, could this actually be stealth marketing? Well played, Flag Maker.
