1. I can’t give an average, but I’d say even three introductions a month would be considered quite a lot.
2. The women we reach out to frequently soon after registration are generally those who had many existing male members we felt we could introduce to them during the interview.
As you know, SALON is a dating club with relatively few male members, so it becomes difficult to continue introducing large numbers of men indefinitely.
3. We focus solely on whether a woman matches a man’s preferences—and whether he isn’t a person she wishes to avoid. We do not use the percentage of past matches as a reference.
Having even one unsuccessful introduction does not mean you will receive fewer offers. However, if unsuccessful introductions happen repeatedly, our staff may feel quite apologetic and become more cautious about contacting you.
4. Until recently, registered female members were not allowed to be active with both SALON and Universe at the same time. However, in January 2021, the rules were officially changed to allow simultaneous registration.
This rule has also been communicated to our male members, so we are unable to hide a woman’s profile for her convenience.
5. When we ask male members what kind of woman they are looking for, we do not currently have a preset option such as “someone with no experience in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), including Universe, or in the nightlife industry.”
If a man specifically mentions this preference, we will take it into consideration when making matches.
This is simply based on my personal impression, but I hope you find it helpful.
We would also like to introduce as many women as possible, so we look forward to seeing you make an impression on the SALON staff as well.
Since no one seems to have answered, I’ll give it a shot as Kazu, a male Universe member who is only considering joining the salon.
I’ve heard that the salon’s model is for staff to suggest women who closely match each male member’s preferences. With that in mind:

I don’t think that’s the case. First of all, I doubt men are approached simply because they’ve just registered.
When interviewing a woman, staff may get the feeling that a particular male member, say Mr. XX, would like her and suggest her to him. It works the same way at Universe Club.
> When staff select women, do they prioritize the likelihood of a successful arrangement?
By “arrangement,” do you mean coordinating schedules?
And by “success rate,” do you mean the likelihood that a match will lead to going out together?
> If I use both the salon and Universe, I don’t want salon members to know that I’m also active on Universe.
Why don’t you want them to know?
From a man’s perspective, even if a woman is registered with Universe, there’s no introduction fee unless you go out together after talking for 20 minutes, so it offers different benefits from Universe. I can’t think of many reasons why it would be a problem for them to know you’re registered with both. Is the allowance higher at the salon, perhaps? The idea that the allowance would differ depending on where you meet is certainly intriguing.

Apparently, they ask about men’s preferences in women, but I don’t think it’s in that kind of questionnaire format.
Experience with papa-katsu or the nightlife business is occasionally mentioned in Universe Club profiles, so it seems there are quite a few men who dislike it. Men who don’t want women with experience in papa-katsu or the nightlife industry probably mention that when staff ask about their preferences. In other words, it’s probably safe to assume that such a preference can be accommodated.
Posting the same question repeatedly doesn’t strike me as particularly good behavior. I had imagined that the salon would attract more composed, mature women with a bit of leeway, so I’m slightly disappointed.
