I’m a male member. Since joining UC, I’ve been intimate with more than a dozen women. I have a question about pubic hair: around 60% were completely shaved, while the rest had theirs trimmed short, I think. When I first saw someone completely shaved, I was surprised and found it unusual (perhaps just a different preference?). These days, I’ve come to see it as part of a woman’s grooming, and inspired by them, I bought a device and started grooming myself. My question is: Is it normal for men to groom their pubic hair as well? Does keeping it groomed count as part of a man’s overall cleanliness? I’d especially like to hear from female members. Thank you for your answers.

I’m だて◎ゆめ, a male member. I don’t do anything—I’m a full-bush kind of guy(笑) I didn’t realize so many of you groom(笑) That’s good to know...

I’m Marika. I hate it when the hair is only partially trimmed or shaved because it feels prickly. But permanent hair removal for men still feels a little strange to me. It makes me assume they’re really promiscuous, so I definitely wouldn’t want to go completely natural—and if possible, I’d rather avoid giving oral too. Am I being prejudiced?

I’m Meg, a female member. If it’s someone I really adore, I’m happy to take good care of him, no matter how bushy he is. (He does keep things properly groomed, though.) What about me? I’m more of a curtain-style girl.

I’m Kazu, a male member who gets his VIO hair removed. I don’t think it’s just a woman’s personal grooming habit—it’s also basic consideration for the person going down on you. A few of the women I’m seeing have told me, “Ever since meeting you, I get irritated when some hairy old guy asks me to give him a blowjob.” Apparently, they find it unpleasant when hair gets in their mouths. I think it’s a more practical issue than simply looking clean and well-groomed.
