Which part of a partner’s body odor bothers you the most? Women’s natural scent can be surprisingly strong too, don’t you think? I feel that even things like that can be part of whether you’re compatible. What do you think? Thank you.

I’m Kamihikōki, a male member who thinks papas over 40 should really visit a bad-breath clinic. You can buy an oral-rinse mouthwash almost identical to what they prescribe at bad-breath clinics on Amazon and other sites. These days, you can even order the kind intended for dental hospitals online. It’s called ProFresh. Just rinse for one minute each morning and evening, and it helps get you closer to having no odor. Apparently, it “supplies oxygen to the areas in the mouth that cause bad breath, especially buildup on the tongue, providing long-lasting protection against bad breath.” Once you start using it, its effectiveness is so impressive that you won’t be able to give it up. If someone won’t kiss you, the real reason—something they’d never actually tell you—is probably bad breath in many cases.

I’m Kazu, a male member. The two things that have bothered me are bad breath and genital odor. I can get past bad breath, but strong-smelling genitals are a dealbreaker. Adding this after reading Riichi’s answer: Maybe that’s why for me, too. Still, the fact that genital odor can take away a man’s ability to get aroused—wow, it really is something.
