I understand wanting to keep your home address private, especially if you’ve had experiences with stalkers.
That said, people who lie about where they live tend to leave a very bad impression—unless they moved after registering.
The reason is that someone who can lie about something as important as their residence on their profile will often have no problem lying about other key details too, such as their occupation, whether they smoke, and whether they have tattoos.
When you meet them, it can feel like everything they’ve told you is a lie…
I once encountered someone who had falsified all four details, despite being listed as recommended by the club. I debated whether to contact the club, but the rest of her profile was so bad that I didn’t want another man to fall victim after me—and I also wanted to protect the club’s credibility—so I contacted them. Her profile was quickly corrected to reflect the truth, and she left the club soon afterward.
Even this year, she’s repeatedly messaged me asking when we can meet, but… there’s absolutely no way I’m meeting her…
Since then, I no longer take the club’s recommendations or comments at face value.

① Your registered area is based on where you live, so if you live in Yokohama, you’ll be registered in Yokohama.
There may be a possibility of changing your registered branch, though it’s generally not allowed and would require pulling off something quite extraordinary, so I won’t go into that. As Saito mentioned, it often doesn’t lead to very good results.
② Male members aren’t shown women’s nearest stations, so they won’t know that information.
As for ①, there have been cases where male members tell women things like, “Why are you registered in Yokohama? You’d get more offers in Tokyo, and there are more wealthy men there,” which leads the women to ask to change their registered branch.
(It seemed so strange that I asked about it, and in some cases, that turned out to be the reason.)
The men may simply want to appear helpful to the women, but it creates quite a burden for us.
If they’re going to encourage women to change their registered branch, they should at least take responsibility and actually do something like:
“I’ll rent you an apartment in Tokyo. That way, you can register in Tokyo and get more offers.”
P.S. Ito wrote that it is possible to change your registered branch, so that’s good news. (I thought requests had generally been refused before, but apparently things have changed.)
If you’re refused, you could mention that Ito said it was okay, and it may work out.
It seems that people registered in Yokohama, Omiya, or Chiba may be able to switch to a Tokyo registration, so contacting the Tokyo branch may allow you to change your registered branch.
Many women are lovely once you get to know them, so the real competition starts after receiving an offer. For those who want to maximize their opportunities, registering in Tokyo may be better.
I’m not being sarcastic. There have always been many women who wanted this, but the internal rule was basically that your registered branch was determined by your area of residence, and anything outside that basic rule was… complicated.
So if it’s now possible to freely change your registered branch, that’s a good thing. (It’s good for the women, though some men may find it inconvenient.)

This isn’t about whether or not you’ll receive offers.
It’s about the fact that there won’t be any ongoing arrangements.
