They may see you as: “Someone I’ll meet if I happen to have free time—not someone worth making special time for.” What if you doubled the allowance? If the last-minute cancellations stopped or they started responding more quickly, you’d have your answer. By managing various expenses, trying different approaches, and carefully analyzing where you stand, you won’t need to keep worrying about it.
