Basically, I think people who are into BDSM usually register with places like BDSM clubs.
So I assume that the “S” or “M” mentioned here refers to ordinary play. Since I don’t think anything truly hardcore is being envisioned, whatever the profile says, I think ordinary play should be fine.
That said, the person may never have tried BDSM but think they might be into it and want to give it a try. However, there’s a difference in technique between an experienced practitioner and an ordinary person.
If you want to try that kind of thing, I think it’s better to properly join a specialized club and learn the basics thoroughly there.
If you just imitate what you’ve seen, it could end up being painful or distressing, leaving you thinking you hated it. Even if a woman naturally had an aptitude for it, the experience could traumatize her and make her never want to try that kind of play again.
As they say, “A little knowledge can be dangerous,” so I recommend becoming experienced yourself first.

That’s just a typical polite courtesy, I’d say (lol).
You probably shouldn’t get your hopes—or worries—up too much.

The fact that you’re thinking this way already makes you a wonderful person.
From there, why not simply ask him what he would like you to do?

Based on my experience, I assume those are 100% fabricated lies meant to get offers.
It seems best not to expect anything. Honestly, I don’t think anyone writes the truth.
