I always find the answers here very helpful.
Question
“Why did you decide to become answerers?”
I understand that the answerers are members, but
What for?
For whose benefit?
Even if there is some compensation, I understand it’s only in the form of points. So I can’t imagine that many members would go to the trouble of answering questions just for the points…
I’m Meg, one of the female members.
I’ve been thinking about this nonstop since yesterday.
Why?
The biggest reason is that I didn’t want to let life pass me by without ever crossing paths with the people who answer questions here. You all seemed so nice to be around (*^^*)
What for?
Members don’t earn points, after all～
I guess it’s for my life.
For whom?
・For everyone who asks questions. (I also found this site helpful before joining.)
・For myself.
I’m doing something I can’t exactly discuss with anyone around me. So I want to be part of a group of people who understand where I’m coming from.
Thanks to that, every day has been so much fun～♪
The question box got pretty chaotic at the end of last month, didn’t it?
For a while, those of us drifting out here were worried about when we’d ever make it back to the mainland.
After going through all that together, the people answering questions here have become reliable comrades-in-arms—shipmates, maybe?
In my head, I’ve even started imagining a whole family structure for everyone, and my imagination is running wild～♪

It brings to mind lines like, “If I don’t do it, who will?”
If that’s truly how you feel, I think there’s something admirable about having the generosity of spirit to accept being wrong.
I also think it’s remarkable to believe that there should be as many answers as there are respondents.

I answer questions
to organize my thoughts
and for my own sake.
Also, I’m simply happy when my answers get lots of likes.

The anonymous question box receives all kinds of questions from everyone. When I read the answers, there are times I think, “I see…” and others when I think, “I’m not so sure about that.”
Since I’m active in an environment where it wouldn’t be surprising if I had to stop at any time, I started answering after wondering, “Is this something I can only say while I still have the chance?”
Also, while everyone generally answers questions separately and freely, actually trying to write an answer can really make you think—and that’s part of what makes it worthwhile.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member.
As someone in his late 40s, I’m simply amazed that something this groundbreaking exists.
I’m currently almost on hiatus and not making any offers, yet I still feel I’m benefiting from the club. So, as a way of giving back—and because I hope the club will continue thriving by the time I’m in my 60s—I answer questions in the hope of encouraging more young women to join. I can write whatever I like about the satisfaction men get from it.
I find myself imagining that women will see the benefits and sense of security, while men will think, “So we can have experiences this good?”—and that both sides will want to join. Hopefully the club will still be around 10 or 20 years from now, so I can fully enjoy its benefits when I’m 60 to 75.
For male members, there are no points or rewards for answering questions, but once you get hooked, it may be almost like a drug.
Another reason is that there’s a woman at the club who’s just like my girlfriend and is incredibly popular with men, so I’m also able to hear what female members really think.
