As the other respondents have said, it feels like they’re deliberately trying to get someone to say something, then arguing against it—or using it as ammunition to put them down.
So what does that make the woman?
She’s a member, right?
The man is a member.
The woman is a member.
Neither is above or below the other.
Every now and then, a male member will say something like, “But the men are the ones paying, right?”
But if you ask, “Would you still pay if there were no female members?”
the answer is obviously no.
So paying doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want, nor does it make men superior.
Both men and women are members, after all.
Members should participate in a way that allows both sides to be happy, and the club should properly support them.
I believe that’s the kind of relationship it should be.

Reading Papuwa’s answer, I found myself agreeing with the use of the word “product,” though it did make me pause.
Everything about celebrities has a price attached to it
—in a professional sense, of course.
Perhaps the same could be said of us.
Even speaking engagements have different fees, and everyone values things differently. So perhaps we place ourselves where we can make the most of our own value.
I suppose society ultimately runs on supply and demand. But in terms of that balance, I feel it’s best to start from an even footing and a sense of humility.
(Sorry if “customer” isn’t quite the right expression.)
From a woman’s perspective, men are, in a sense, “customers” too. And since this is ultimately just matching people, it’s somewhat like a securities firm. I think it’s perfectly fine to regard both the company and its shareholders as customers.

Female members need to be selective about the caliber of the people who buy their time and make sure they’re treated well—but in other words, here they’re still “products.”
