I’m familiar with things like medication to delay menstruation and menstrual sponges. However, birth control pills and other medication that alters hormone levels don’t agree with my body, and I’ve experienced side effects in the past, so I can’t take them. You wrote in your PPS that using a menstrual sponge could be an option, but do men really want to have sex badly enough to do so even when a woman is using one? As Papuwa also mentioned, bacteria multiply during menstruation, and there are risks such as pelvic infections and endometriosis. In my case, I don’t want to have sex during my period because it hurts once penetration goes slightly deeper, although stimulation near the entrance is still tolerable. Of course, as I wrote in my previous question, whether or not someone can have sex during their period varies from woman to woman. Sorry this got so long, but these are the two things I’d like to ask: ① Do men want to have sex during a woman’s period even if she uses a menstrual sponge? ② From a woman’s perspective, do you feel uncomfortable having sex during your period? If a woman Mac was seeing got her period, would you have her take medication or use a menstrual sponge or some other measure? Or would you have sex with another woman instead?
