A long time ago, a friend recommended an app called Wakuwaku Mail. I found a photo of a beautiful woman and arranged to meet her, but she seemed to be Chinese or something—and the woman who showed up looked nothing like the photo.
Some of you might think, “Well, if that’s all it was…” but what really irritated me was having my time wasted. It made me several times angrier. LOL
Also, regarding a Gold woman from Universe: she apparently agreed to 80,000 yen with a man from the app, received the envelope, and even checked what was inside. But at some point, it was swapped for a piece of ordinary paper, which she only realized later.
She told me about it sadly. She even showed me a photo of the paper, and it was heartbreaking.

Back when street touts were at their peak, this happened in downtown Kumamoto, when I was still hot-blooded and afraid of nothing except the police.
The pink salon the tout took me to was dimly lit, and I could barely make out the woman’s face, but she was my type.

It happened a very, very long time ago, but I feel like that experience may have been one reason I registered with Universe for a safe and secure experience.
Since then, life has toughened me up, the times have changed, and now the only thing I’m afraid of is the tax office. (笑)

I continued using the app casually for a while, and eventually arranged to meet another woman.
She was incredibly cute in her photos, so my expectations were high again. We met in Ikebukuro, and the woman who showed up was wearing a witch-like black hat with a huge brim.
This time I yelled, “You’re a completely different person! Not you again!” and ran away. But she was unbelievably fast—and her grip was incredibly strong. She caught up with me, grabbed my suit sleeve, and I couldn’t break free.
She caught me at an intersection with plenty of people around, and I was completely helpless. She kept muttering, “Just money… just money…” so I took out a few bills and handed them to her.
The moment she accepted them, I managed to pull free and ran for my life without looking back, all the way onto a train.
Rather than calling her a loser, this was an experience that still sends chills down my spine whenever I remember it.
After that, every woman on the app started to look like her to me, and I got scared and quit. Even now, I flinch whenever I see a woman wearing a black hat. That’s how traumatized I am.
