I think it depends on the person’s circumstances.
If I chose one particular woman from among many female members and made her an offer, I’d probably prioritize finding out whether she still wanted to meet, even if she canceled at the last minute.
On the other hand, if I simply wanted to “have dinner, drinks, or go out with someone right now,” I feel like I’d be asking, “Is anyone available?”
