She may have lied to the man, the club may not have received her suspension request, or a staff member may have forgotten to process it. But there’s little benefit for the man in speculating about these possibilities. If the registered member is concerned that her profile is still visible despite requesting a suspension, it would be quicker for her to contact the club directly. If you’re worried, I suggest asking her to contact the club herself.

They told me she had notified them that she wanted to leave shortly after our first meeting. However, the branch had contacted her several times to confirm that she really wanted to complete the withdrawal process, but received no reply. So they had no choice but to keep her profile posted until they decided enough time had passed and removed it. Apparently, she thought her withdrawal had been completed with her initial message and hadn’t noticed the follow-up notifications. I didn’t ask exactly what had been exchanged between them, but I was both surprised and flattered that she had decided so quickly to see only me... lol
