Since renting the apartment, we’ve been meeting there. But on days when I cancel our plans, he’s started coming by to check on me. I haven’t given him a spare key, so whenever he comes by, he calls me—but it’s scary. If he’s paying the rent, do I just have to put up with this? We meet every week for ¥150,000 a month, and he expects an adult relationship even when I’m on my period. He also keeps me there for at least six hours every time. The other day, we had plans to go out for dinner after meeting at the apartment during the day. But I canceled because I have a child who gets lonely at night, so I couldn’t go out for dinner. After we parted ways during the day, he came back to the apartment that night. A friend happened to be visiting, and he got extremely angry when he saw the car, demanding to know who was there. It was terrifying. He also pressures me to message him every day, and if I don’t use even a single emoji, he makes sarcastic comments like, “You seem busy.” Honestly, it’s exhausting. If he’s paying for the apartment, is this something I just have to accept? He’s definitely a papa to avoid, right? For the record, he’s married. We’re supposed to meet again next week, and he said we should talk things over calmly then, but I’m scared to meet him alone in a confined space.
