If I remember correctly, your assigned branch is determined by the address on your ID.
You should be able to take your photo there as well, and if your address has changed, wouldn’t your registration be switched to the branch that covers your new area?

If distance is the reason, there’s no problem with having your photos retaken at the nearest branch.
If there’s another reason, the answer would be different, but in this case, I don’t think there’s any issue.
