Do club staff check social media? On X, I occasionally come across posts from people who seem likely to be Universe members—papa-katsu supporters or women—sharing stories and complaints about their first meetings. Can staff generally figure out which member’s account it is based on the content of the tweets? (Like, “This person had a reservation at that type of restaurant near [station], so this tweet and account must be theirs!” lol.)

They probably wouldn’t. Even if they did, there’s nothing they could really do with information that may or may not be true, and they couldn’t use it to affect the club’s ratings. They don’t seem to have that much free time, either. Maybe some people do it as a hobby, but it wouldn’t really accomplish anything, would it? Are you worried because the person asking the question has been complaining on a private account?

I sometimes see people tweeting about their experiences and complaints from their first meetings. I suppose someone could identify them if the posts included enough specific information (since the meeting place and time are known), but I don’t think they tweet about things in that much detail. More than that, though, the fact that they didn’t mention that the president of Universe tweets on X makes me wonder if they don’t really use X much. When I asked, “Why did you remove the anonymous question box from the official page’s menu—the one in the top right? Are you planning to get rid of it?” I was told: “That’s not my intention. The link is still down below, isn’t it?” Then they added: “You didn’t know I retweet the question-box posts on X? I think the bot does the actual posting, but I’ve been retweeting them quite a bit lately.” I see what they mean, but removing it from the menu makes it feel like they’re treating it as unnecessary content…
