I’ve only exchanged messages with this papa, and for our first meeting, he suggested watching a movie at his place for two or three hours. He offered an allowance of 10,000 yen and said there would be no adult relationship (intimacy), so I agreed to 10,000 yen since there wouldn’t be any intimacy. But then he specified that I wear flimsy loungewear that’s basically like underwear. Is this normal?

What do you think? Why would you accept an offer to meet at his place? You got lucky. It’s fortunate that was all that happened. Aren’t you scared? You need to be more careful about your safety. That’s an offer you should’ve turned down.

Asking whether it’s normal only after agreeing to it is putting the cart before the horse. Agreeing to the terms is essentially the same as entering into an agreement. Going back on that agreement afterward doesn’t seem right to me. If you have even the slightest doubts, I think you should hold off on replying until those doubts have been resolved. That’s different from simply leaving someone on read. Normally, you would say something like, “I’ll get back to you later,” or “By when should I give you my answer?” Then you take the time to think and do your research until you’re satisfied with your decision. After that, if you still aren’t comfortable with the arrangement overall, you can negotiate or turn it down. If both people are satisfied, then whether it’s “normal” or what other people do doesn’t really matter. That said, speaking generally, going to the home of someone you’re meeting for the first time is something that, back in the Showa era, could have led to people saying it was the woman’s fault if something happened to her. We live in better times now, and if someone does something to you, you can report it and they may be arrested for non-consensual sexual intercourse or a similar offense. But even if they are arrested, I wonder whether that would really make you feel better after having something unpleasant done to you. With that in mind, I don’t think going to a stranger’s home is generally considered advisable. Personally, if you’re going to someone’s home, I think you should take precautions or have some way to deal with the situation if something happens. If you can’t do that, then it would be better not to go and simply meet at a movie theater instead. Once you’re at the stage of wearing flimsy loungewear that’s practically like underwear, it seems to me that being touched is already being treated as a given… And I think it’s reasonable to assume that hidden filming could come as part of the package too. Apparently, some people will touch you for a while and then say things like, “How about 50,000 yen?” or “How about 100,000 yen?”—and then make around a million yen selling the hidden footage. Would you really be okay with that? Of course, there are apparently people who will secretly film you for just 10,000 yen and sell the footage, too. You should carefully consider the risks of going to someone’s home.

What do you mean by “What if he’s not normal”? Personally, I don’t make a habit of inviting someone I’ve just met to my home.
