Just to clarify, under club arrangements, the club’s rule is that actual transportation costs are paid separately for dates involving long-distance travel.
So if the round-trip cost is ¥50,000, the breakdown would be ¥50,000 plus transportation compensation (¥5,000–¥10,000), and, if it develops into an adult relationship (intimate), an allowance of perhaps ¥70,000–¥80,000.
Also, if it isn’t possible to return home the same day, the man is required to arrange a hotel where the woman can stay alone. (Around ¥15,000 extra, perhaps?)
(The man is not allowed to enter her hotel room, so if he wants to go to a hotel together, he would need to use a different hotel.)
This time, the club-mandated transportation compensation—which is a thank-you payment of ¥5,000–¥10,000 separate from the actual travel expenses—wasn’t mentioned. So I think the man may have tried to shortchange her.

Before COVID, when I had regular work trips, I’d make offers in Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka every time I traveled, taking advantage of the club’s nationwide reach.
After COVID, remote work became firmly established, so I stopped traveling and now mainly do papa-katsu locally. What a shame—the women outside the major cities were great ↴
Women living outside the major cities, especially those who live far from a club branch, probably don’t get many offers unless they’re willing to accept offers from long-distance papas. So I imagine women who stay registered with a club for a long time in regional areas are open to meeting supporters from farther away.
If it takes 15 hours to get there, why not get money for a hotel, stay overnight and have some fun, then head home? lol
